Home from Duke and Liver Resection

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted y'all to know that the docs were able to proceed with the resection of my right lobe. They also cut out a edge on my left that had been ablated last September. The procedure was on Wednesday and I am home tonight. I'm very grateful to the Lord for this as this means there was no visibly active disease anywhere outside the liver.

    What wonderful news! I am so glad that you had a successful surgery and were in the hospital for only just a few days. I was in for 8 days for my surgery and I was ready to bounce off the walls by the last day. Take it easy the next couple of weeks. I will keep you in my thoughts for continued speedy healing.

    Thanks for sharing and I'm so glad for you to hear that there was no activity outside the liver and they were able to get it all in the liver. You rest easy and you'll be getting around easily soon.
