Asking for thoughts and prayers

Hi Friends,
Please say a prayer or send out a good thought for our family the next two days.

**** is on the box and will unhook tomorrow. I am hoping he does not break out in a rash again and that his nausea is under control.

Our youngest daughter, who has autism and epilepsy, is being "cleaned out" today for an endoscopy and colonoscopy tomorrow. She is 13 and has limited language. She doesn't quite understand why I am not giving her food. Also, once she starts with the constant pooping it is going to get interesting. Please pray that she is safe and does not have any seizures and that she is safe under the anesthesia tomorrow. I also hope she is all clear and all cells look good. This is a precaution as she has had bowel issues her whole life, very typical for people with autism. Her last colonoscopy and endoscopy was 6 years ago.

Pray that I stay strong for both of them.

    From just outside of Toronto, I am sending your whole family my good thoughts + hopes for all to be good. You have your hands full right now; things will be better in a few days. Take good care + know I am thinking about you + your precious family.

    It is wonderful!
    It is great to share stories, treatments, + friendships with people all around the world. it couldn't have been done in the not-so-distant past. I think it helps make people not feel so alone in this struggle.

    There will never be a doubt that you will be strong for the both of them - it is a universal given that you will be:)

    You taught me something today about autism - had no idea that bowel issues were part of the regime and that scopes were so necessary at her very young age(s).

    I do hope that all will turn out routine, as you say, just a precaution.

    Kathleen, everything is ok until its not..keep that thought :)
    You are strong enough to know that everything is fine until proven otherwise, keep that thought process going, then you have a strong basis to work on the other small details that you know will be solved as well...Prayers to you and yours, Clift

    Hey Kathleen
    Sending super good vibes your way! I have acquired Epilepsy and have for 30+ years so I do know what you deal with there. Generalized Tonic Clonic seizures but controlled with meds. You do have your hands full. Wishing all the best for you and the family.
