So far so good

Yesterday I went for my last infusion of Doxil (8). My main concern was the CA125 (it is like this obsession. I have to know the number.) I had a fear that the number went up. But it stayed the exact same as last time. It is 30.6 I guess I thought since it jumped last time that it was going to jump this time and I was trying to prepare myself. My doctor said I was doing good. I will get a PET/Scan on Sept. 13 and I pray for a good result on that.
Here is something I had done bad AGAIN. I told the doctor I had been a bad girl. He said, what did you do now? I told him I went to a wedding on Saturday night and I danced one little bitty swing dance.Well I got two big blisters on my big toes!==YUCK. <!==I just keep forgetting about the Doxil and causing friction.==>

I'm so glad your number
I'm so glad your number hasn't changed and that it is so low. I think we are all obsessed with that darn number. Mine has finally dropped to 30 after a year of treatment so that is a good thing.
My doctor told me a lot of people can't sleep the night before their appt. to find out about that number. Amazing.
I wish you continued good luck and happy trails. :-)

I am too, obsessed by the numbers. Yet other things can have a bearing on them. Mine was 34 at the lowest last time and has risen to 71. But my doctors aren't too worried because they don't want to see me until Oct. I will also have a CT scan.
