    we always have a BIG party
    we always have a BIG party for my birthday, weather's usually still nice enough here to have a bash outside but cools off enough at night for a nice big bonfire. We were planning on having an extra large one this year, with more people, maybe even a band (we're kinda in the country, our backyard is a little under an acre -lotsa outside room!). I told my husband that I wouldn't feel up to having it but he wouldn't hear of it. I was also planning on getting a significant tattoo for a birthday present to myself but I won't be doing that unless I'm done with chemo!

    That sounds AWESOME
    I can't even start to imagine a yard that size!! I lived in studios
    in NYC for most of my life.

    Have a blast!!! I am glad you hubby didn't give in, you deserve
    a great Birthday, especially on your special date!!

    Jan 25th is my birthday. One month after Christmas and one month before my grandfather's birthday. He was very disappointed that the docs miscalculated. I was born during a blizzard and the story goes, that Mom almost didn't make it to the hospital.Boy, do I dislike snow.

    I don't mind sharing my year....
    My birthday is 2/15/60 I turned the big 50 this year. My kids threw me a great big party and everything. Don't mind being 50 at all. :) Infact, it's kinda great - I'll be a grandma for the first time on 10/2 - the day after my last chemo treatment. ""Happy Dance~~~~~~~~
