This made me smile.
Last night when the cake was baking, my daughter sent us a text message.
She was out to dinner with my son in law and 13 year old grandson. The granddaughters stayed home. They wanted a quiet meal. So they went to this little Japanese sushi restaurant. They were sitting at the sushi bar enjoying their meal, when two men sit right next to them.
It was Vice President Al Gore and Steve Jobs ( Apple ). Wow !!
I wish I had been there. Maybe we could have talked about health care..... Ha Ha
You never know who you might sit next to in a restaurant.
Happy Sunday All
Lisha

PS I tried to tell you this story last night, but the computer was not working. Today is a better day.

    Hi Lisha,
If Al Gore ever walked into a place I was eating at I would have to leave or probably risk being thrown out or going to jail!...ha! What a jerk...cheats on his wife and then tells all of us how we should live our lives as he flys all around the country in his private jet leaving his huge carbon footprint everywhere he goes. The money he has spent on jet fuel alone could fund alot of research on cancer...not to mention the money he probably spent sneaking around cheating on Tipper. The man "gags" me...UGH! Just my opinion...hope I didn't offend anyone...ha! I detest hypocrits and cheating **** men! Don't even want to get me started on the whole "health care" overhaul...UGH! Hope you and hubby enjoyed your cake!
    Love....Sue

    Hi Sue,
I am a newly diagnosed stage IV NH lymphoma patient with my first infusion happening tomorrow.
Just wanted to add my agreement to your gore comment. There are VERY, VERY few people that I consider to be bigger sleazeballs than obamanation - but gore is one of them. Anyone who can, with such a straight face, lie, cheat and steal from rich and poor alike all over the world for his own enrichment and power - and sucker so many well-meaning people with him - I just don't have any words strong enough to describe it.
I know that I'm sick, and God knows I've been pretty bad myself, but anyone that can lecture me about how my breathing is destroying the planet and then live the way he (and other political elitist hypocrites) live - it just sucks.
And yes, lets see some of these super rich people decide to live in normal houses and use their riches to help solve real problems like cancer and/or any of many ills that could really help people. (But that will never happen because, for them, it is all about power and money.)
That's all I'm going to say about that in any post that I make here on csn. I marvel at people like you and so many others on this site who have gone through so much already and are still fighting the good fight. I just hope that I can do as well as so many of you have. And thank you for your examples and inspiration.
    God Bless,
    Tom

    Good luck Tom!
    Hi Tom,
I am newly diagnosed also...(June 16)...stage 3 NHL. I'm doing the watchful waiting right now. Best of luck to you tomorrow with your first infusion. I hope if you feel up to it you can share how it goes for you. My day for treatment will come and in the meantime my brain is like a sponge trying to absorb as much feedback as people are willing to share. I'm a darn Libra and one of our traits is always trying to keep our scales balanced...ha! As far as the rest of our "political" talk...well lets say...I'm ready to throw all of the bums out and start from scratch. It feels like the whole damn country has gone mad!!! Thinking good thoughts for you tomorrow!
