Well, after feeling so down and then feeling much better, I made the angel food cake. I was feeling so happy about it.
Timer goes off, cake is done. Looks wonderful smells great ! Angel food cake must hang upside down till it is cool. Took it out of the oven, hung it upside down on an old wine bottle. I then went upstairs to post all of you about the cake being done,
Bam ! my computer stopped working.
Bam ! my husband yells for me from downstairs in the kitchen.
Bam ! the cake fell out of the pan onto the counter. What a mess. I guess it was not done.
Boy did I feel down again. My husband was great about it. He said " you can't win them all ". So true....
Today is better. The computer is working and the cake is just a funny story to tell.
I will try again. One flopped cake is not the end of my baking......
Have a great Sunday .
Lisha

    Too funny!!!
Laughed my butt off after reading this! Send hubby out to the store again and start over...don't let a cake whip yer butt...ha! My computer is 11 years old, which is REALLY old since it was a cheap one to begin with. Every morning when I boot it up I pat it gently and say "come on baby...one more day"! We have high speed service, but thats like giving a 98 year old man viagra...they may "want too", but the "whole body"(PC) can't keep up with the thought process...ha!ha!ha! You have a great Sunday also!

    Balanced Libra
    Hi Sue,
I Had a much better day today, just knowing that I gave you a laugh. We need to keep each other going. I too am a Libra. It has been a struggle to keep myself 'balanced'. Ups and downs all in the same day. Sometimes all in the same hour. Since I joined this wonderful group, you have been there for me from day one. If I can help you in any way I am honored to do so. All of our combined strengths can only help us win our battles. I hope your Dr visit goes well tomorrow. I know all about the butterflies in the tummy. I too am getting them just thinking about Tues. and the scan. My symptoms seem to be more frequent. Had another fever today, but felt really good, just very tired. I find you full of passion and humor in this difficult time.It is such a treasure. I will be thinking only good thoughts for tomorrow.

    Oh boy another Libra...
    Hi Lisha,
The problem with us Libra's is that we like to "fix" situations AND people. Having this dang cancer makes that impossible for us to do, which automatically puts our scales out of balance. I have felt out of balance since being diagnosed. I guess since we can't "fix" the cancer we will just have to work extra hard on "fixing" our thinking. I don't know what else we can do...ya know? I'm an optimist, so I'm trying to balance my scales by learning all I can about this cancer and holding on to the hope that one day a cure will be found AND hopefully in mine and yours lifetime! We just need to keep the faith and pass it forward whenever we can. I'm sorry your symptoms keep popping up and more frequent. So far so good for me...no new symptoms other than the tumors I can feel and see. Guess what? I actually gained another pound...had to be all that food I ate yesterday...ha! I weigh in at the nutritionist in the morning at the cancer center...hope my scale matches with hers! I really hate having to force myself to eat, but I know I need all the weight I can handle when treatment time comes. I really would love to get my appetite back...it just seems to come and go...more going than coming however! Stay peaceful...always here for you too!
    Love...Sue
