18 Months down

I just had my 18 month scan since liver resection and 9 months since my last chemo treatment. After a brief scare (ovarian cyst the radiologist thought looked "complex" but a quick sonogram determined to be nothing) my doctor told me I was all clear. My husband and I were very happy. Although I know it could come back at anytime I am so grateful to have had clean scans for 18 months. My doctor said the 2 year scan being clean would be a really good milestone but for now I won't look so far ahead and will simply enjoy the family and the rest of our summer.

Your news is fantastic! I couldn't be happier for you! Sounds like that cancer has been kicked to the curb. So inspiring for all those others with liver mets. You truly deserve this success and I pray it will be the new normal for you!
Hugs and Healing,
