That's the spirit!
"If I have to pull up my big panties and deal with it one more time, the elastic is going to break, and I really will have to show my ****!

Oh My Gosh
The mentioning of panties. When I had to go to the hospital to get the port put in, I pulled out my one pair of panties I own, because I knew I would need them. I had given up panties years ago, and am quite happy with that decision (LOL).
So I took my shower, put my clothes on and we headed to the hospital. After checking in, this man was taking us and another family up to the outpatient rooms to get ready for surgery, as we were in the elevator, I had my Oh My God moment, I stood on my tippie toes to get close to my husband's ear and whispered "I forgot to put those panties on". I was mortified. Any way, they have you get in this little gown which I did. The nurse comes in and states the obvious, "Honey, you still have your pants on, they have to come off." I replied, "These pants are NOT coming off, they are staying right were they are." She stated, "They will just take them off then in surgery." I informed her I didn't care they were NOT coming off. And as she started to reply, getting a little upset, I told her, "Look, I forgot to wear my panties". (Dang Chemo Fog!!!)
She laughed a tiny laugh and said she'd be right back. And the dear brought me some mesh underwear they have in the hospital.
Too funny. I wonder if she wonders how someone "forgets" to wear their panties!!0 -

That was one of the best laughs I've had in awhile. And Gail, I was sure that had to be a typo because who of us would admit to "big panties" true or not!
You guys have made my day!0 -

They say laughter is the best medicine. I can laugh over now too. I told my daughter the story the next day, and she just said, "MOTHER!!!"0 -
