I haven't heard anything from chefdaddy since June. Has anyone ele heard something?

    I'd love some details - you don't have to call me nosey - I'll admit to it freely. I know he's got a lot on his plate, trying to recover and be there for the kids - and I think they have a trip to Disneyland coming up.

    Thanks Debbiejeanne. Last I heard sweetblood called him and he told he he would call her back. I am hoping he and the kids are indeed vacationing at Disneyland because they have MORE than earned it. Sending them good thoughts.

    Disney Came up a while ago
    for some reason, I was thinking that over a month ago, he was talking of going in September, maybe?

    Yes Chef Daddy Mike is doing well; he has his ups and downs like all of us. He is still not gaining any weight, he did have his PEG removed a few weeks ago and eating is still hard for him. But he is an incredible strong guy who has a strong will to live and be with his children.

    Thanks for the info on Mike. I really miss his appearances here but am really pleased that he is spending time with his family. I think of him daily and have been so inspired by him.

    He still hasn't called me
    He still hasn't called me back. Maybe I will try tomorrow. I like to give a week at least between calls. I don't want to be a pest.

    I just spoke to Mike for
    I just spoke to Mike for almost an hour. He and his family are okay. His son has had a couple of proceedures so they have been dealing with that. Mike still has problems getting in nutrition and is only 152 lbs. They are scheduled to go to Disney on the fifth of sept.
