For me -
On A/C I lost the hair of my head - I lost some lashes and brows but definately not all. "Other" hair thinned while on the A/C but with Taxol ALL hair left TOTALLY. The first to come back for me were lashes and brows. "Other" hair was next though still is thinner than before. 'Hair of the head' was the last to start back but it coming back as thick and dark as it was before - dang it - I was hopeing tht it would come back with some grey in it - at 64 I'm too old to have very dark brown hair with no grey in it - just genetics.
Remember - we're all so different!

Everyone's different
That being said, what was left of the fuzz left with the taxol, along with eyebrows (which as we all know are really necessary), eyelashes and everything else.
It all comes back, even that one annoying hair on the chin. : )

I lost most of my hair on AC
I lost most of my hair on AC and have gone through 8 out of 12 Taxol but have fuzz on my head! The Onc. told me that was not my real hair and it has never really fallen out. Most of my brows and lashes are gone as is most of the hair on the rest of my body but for some reason my head, there is lots of fuzz that I have kept short and shaved once.
I also found very long white baby soft hair growing on my forehead and cheeks which I removed. This weired me out a little. It prompted me to research steroid and hair growth which is a possible explanation. I have an appointment with the Onc. and will ask him about that.
I guess everyone is different.0 -

Everyone looses their hair on taxol. Right now, i have a little fuzz up there, but it will be gone soon. I hate it and i do get upset about it, i know "it is only hair", but it still upsets me.0 -

Where I "combed" out my hair with my fingers it's like a baby butt, then my stylist shaved the rest and that part looks dark...hence the springer spaniel look & hasn't fallen out as of yet. Had 2 of 4 T/C treatments. Still have a lot of fuzz.
And noticed 3 really fine long hairs in front hairline also. Glad I'm not the only one.

I buzzed my hair and the little "buzz" that was left never fell out. I never had the shiny head. My nether regions fell out first before my head and grew in first. I was not too happy,I did nt care about there I wanted it on my HEAD. My eyebrows and lashes fell out on taxol. I got an awful facial rash too. The nurse at the hospital said the fuzzy stuff on the face is from the treatments, but goes away. I didnt get that very noticably. My hair grew back a dark color and curly. I was blondish and straight. hair on my arms, lashes, and eyebrows grew back pretty quick, my lashes and eyebrows fell out again about 4 months later to be quickly replaced. My lashes are not as long as they used to be. I colored my hair with an organic hair color at the hairdressers, and had it trimmed so it would grow out more evenly. i was sad to not get the blond, but it couldnt be foiled yet, (not long enough) she said it is a process, I was thinking F the process i ma sick of everything being a "process" but after my cry I decided to accept it. I was pretty sick on chemo and lost 70 pounds and then another 10. with the weight loss and the hair people dont recognize me, sometimes its tiresome but sometimes it comes in handy, My alter ego.0 -
I made it through TAXOL and my hair grew back@!!!!tambow said:Hair.....
I shaved my head as soon as it started falling out ~ 2nd AC treatment. It actually started growing back after I started Taxol.
I was never totally bald, and did not shave my head as I wore caps and left the stragglers hanging from the sides and bottom. Occasionally I wore a wig, but preferred the hats. My hair started growing back through the taxol and everyone told me I would lose it all. Didn't happen! I was very lucky, hope your wife has the same luck! God bless.0 -

My hair fell out almost completely during the AC. I'm on my 5th of 12 Taxol treatments, and now I have short fuzzy hair which is growing softer. It's only about 1/2" long, but it seems to be growing thicker.
It's interesting reading all the comments and how everyone is different. :-)0
