My Loving Family
I didn't get to read all the posts on this board, as I've been taking it easy now, and waiting the hospice nurses to adjust my meds, Now, this doesnt mean I'm dying tomorrow, or next week or anything. They are really good people who just making me comfortable especially with pain. They are putting me on pain pump for me on Friday, for when the
time comes, I will not be in any pain. The hospice burse said it will make me more comfortable. So, I don;t know how morphine will be on me, hope it doesn,t make me oopy or anything.
I did read the prayer board though, and so touched by ALL of you! thank you, all my angels, as you have all touched and inspired. I came here so scared, and you all took that away for me, now not scared...well maybe a little heehee...more scared about my kids, have had some great talks with them. I love them so much, how they helped me though this.
My prayers and good vibes will be with you all as well. Even even when I go to where our creator is, I'll even make sure I stand where the door that Angel is standing at welcoming us back home Michelle
You all have been very special to me, and will try to get on here as much as possible, If I missed posts, I apologize, theres a load of posts to get tbrough. Now I'm off to have some ice cream, and note that I love each and everyone of you!
Hugs and Loveeeeeeeee,
~Donna

welcome!
It sure was heartwarming to read your post! As you know, we are all praying for you and here to support you with whatever you need! Maybe your kids could read some of the posts to you that you don't have the energy for! I know you are having a really hard time now, know that we are trying to help you with your burden; you have been a strong warrior and I don't doubt that you are continuing today! Stay strong and continue to do as you have been in this fight, what's best for you and your family!

Yo! Donna!
You do realize, girlfriend, in the middle of all my running about, it was YOU who managed to get me to come back and post on the board... I was doing one of my long, rambling babbles, while you were over here posting. Go figure? And how the heck do you manage to say everything you want to say in a nice, concise, easy to read post, where I go babbling on for pages and I'm still not finished?
Girlfriend... you are going to be just fine. Your kids are amazing and they, too, are going to be just fine. And no matter which way your journey takes you, you are always going to have angels around you... the hospice guys/gals are totally amazing. Where DO they get their angel qualities from?? All of them? But because of this, you are not going to have to worry about how to juggle pain management on your own... that worry will have been taken away from you
Ok... I know your time online is going to be cut back, but what the heck... I think I'll go fertilize your farm and feed those chickens and send you a honeybee or two
Hugggggggggs!

Hi Chicky:)
So good to see your face and "hear" your voice:)
You really shook our world up - only you could do that.
Morphine can make you feel loopy if you take too much, LOL:)
One day in the hospital (when I was briefly on the pump), I went to sleep sitting up. It was adjusted to a gram every 10 minutes and I had too much that hour. They did not let me keep it long, but it does help when you have pain. After that, it was a 2-gram shot every 4 hours for breakthrough, but still got me up and moving around to get my walks in and such. I hope that works out good for you as well.
Devastated to hear about the spread. Seems so many of us have a situation right now. The brain scared me to death - and to be truthful, hearing your story shook me back to my core roots. Made me think if it could happen to Chicky, it could happen to me, but we'll fight in the lung right now and just take it as it comes. But you got my attention, honey.
You handle things so well. I've thought of you often and just wish I could do something besides sit here. I'm laid up pretty hard right now. Been home just under a week now. Won't bore you with my story, you are our priority case right now.
I'll let you go, but just wanted to say "love you." You should see a card from me this week. Kim picked one out for me as I could not physically go - she is worried and talks about you.

I don't know exactly where your tumors are in your brain, but I'm sure you could go overseas and have them treated with stereotactic radio surgery. I am praying for you and wishing you the best.0 -
Hey
I was so stunned when I learned about your mets update. You were so supportive and inspirational towards me when I joined the board last year. I'm sure you'de probably be amazed at just how many people you've touched in our unique family here. Hoping and praying for the best. Take care of yourself.

Thinking of You
So glad to see that you are on the boards, even if it is for just to post once in awhile. It's good that hospice is helping you with this pain, they definitely are such angels on earth. So sorry to hear that it has spread so. Praying for a miracle for you.

Prayers and love
Donna,
You and your beautiful family are in my prayers right now. As someone said above, no matter what road your journey leads you on, your sweet children are going to be just fine - they've been raised by an amazingly strong, wise, and resilient woman!
You've always been so sweet to me and everyone else on this board - thank you for being one of the first to welcome me here. You demonstrated to all of us that life doesn't stop after a cancer diagnosis - I know that I speak for many when I say that you are truly an inspiration to keep on living - and have a lot of fun along the way!
I am devasted that you've experienced this turn of events. I'm still praying for a miracle and sending you lots of love!

Donna,
I'm so happy you were able to share with us what is going on. I'm sure things are very hectic right now, but I hope and am praying for a miracle for you. You have been so sweet and caring to so many, and you are such a strong person. I agree with the others who said your children will be fine, yu have done a wonderful job of raising them. Your spirit always shines through when you respond to another member.

Love hearing from you!
Hey!!!
I'm SO glad you posted!!! We've all been thinking so much about you. Today when it was 3 here, I was part of the group praying for you. I did a solo at church Sunday, "I Want Jesus To Walk With Me." I dedicated it in my heart to you, dear lady, and today I sang it again just before I prayed.
You are such a precious lady!!!
*hugs*

to think of us and post about your situation as it is now. I can't tell you how devastated we all are to hear of your latest spread. However, that being said it's good to know you are still able to fight this thing and I hope you know that we are all praying for you daily. You are such a brave and wonderful "friend" and I feel honored to know you just a little bit (as much as you can know someone online). Keep the gloves on....we need you here.
