Hey! I've got a crazy question? Does the pubic hair grow back?

    Hi,

Mine did, although I wouldn't have minded if it didn't. Lori

    Mine did too!
However, it sure would have made swimsuit season easier had it not!

    hair
Mine didn't except for a couple of stragglers, and of course a gray one or two.

    When?
Mine doesn't look like there's even an attempt to regrow! When can I expect to see some growth...if ever?

To be or not to be...BALD!
I have a feeling mine is not going to grow back. I have two little strands that managed to survive the radiation, but everything else is completely bald! Hubby says he's going to buy me a toupe (sp?) (pronounced too pay). I don't mind that the hair is gone, but it just looks so weird! I guess I can get used to it.

    You are too funny!
Well, if it grows back, that's cool. If not, that's cool, too...I'll just have to get used to it. Wow, I never would have thought that the radiation would have changed me in so many ways!

I thought for a time that
I thought for a time that mine was not going to make a comeback, but there were finally signs of new growth and now I can't tell it was ever gone. When it was gone, I sort of had that "plucked chicken" look! I didn't have to shave my legs either during chemo, which was so very nice--that hair all grew back too!

    Ok, only because you asked...
lost all of mine. Came back thinner and let's just suffice it to say that I will never have the need for a bikini wax. Just a little coverage, so I wasn't left with the "plucked chicken" look Martha was so accurate in describing. :)

    Thanks for the laugh!!!

    Only time will tell
Well, I guess only time will tell. I just asked out of curiosity...I really don't think it will make a difference one way or the other. I don't mind + hubby doesn't mind = no problem! Thanks for responding!

    Depends on the individual
Well, for everyone that has responded so far, it looks like it depends on the individual and maybe how strong the treatment was. I'll wait it out and see. Thanks for the encouragement! The lidocaine is working wonders! I hope I don't get addicted. I keep checking the bottle to make sure it isn't running out! I know sooner or later I'm going to have to be brave enough to have a BM without it. It just feels so good not having that fear of pain. Thanks for responding!
