Its been a year

Hi everybody,Its been a year since our son Ateesh was diagnosed with Signet ring adenocarcinoma.This day last year we were devastated and as a doctor I blamed myself for not taking his symptoms seriously much earlier.Today as I saw him off to work I am so so grateful to have come this far.For having such great support from family and friends right through.Even in ICU and Recovery my son had a fresh stock of jokes to relate to the resident doctors!
To all of us out here let's give this disease a good fight.Let's have the satisfaction of doing our best.And then"This too shall pass"
