Kari, I'm so glad that the surgery went well and you now have a matched set. I know how my self esteem improved so much after my revision surgery. It does make a world of difference: even if no one else notices, we notice being lopsided.

Congratulaions!!!!! If you feel good about yourself it will show. I am soo happy for you.
Kari, even your expanders look great! =D
I love the size of my TE's and am making the most of them as they will be smaller after exchange. I am getting gummy and my PS overfills by about 150ml =(0 -
I can't tell from the photo
I can't tell from the photo that they are expanders. Oh well. I've never been much into boobs. But I'm glad they were able to fix the symetry for you. I know that could drive a person nuts, to feel lopsided and not quite right. Like when a picture is hanging crooked. Glad it's all better for ya now. Are they comfortable? I'm just starting I get my first fill on August 5.0 -
Kari glad your happy with
Kari glad your happy with the girls now...i know how you felt cuz my expanders were lopsided...one was shaped like a softball and the other a football, one was high and one was low and the bigger they got the more noticable. Now i have the real girls in and im really happy with them except i wished they were alittle bigger. But when I looked like a verity of sport balls it didnt do much for my self esteem either!
Glad your finally happy!0 -

This is great Kari! Not that you had to have more surgery, but, that you feel so much better now!
You get out there and enjoy your life! ( and, your new boobs )

Those of you with the expanders.... are/were you able to get fills during the times you had chemo? radiation?
Oh, and how often did you go for fills?
Thanks, Linda0 -

Like jo jo said, you can get fills during chemo. I finished my fills, but have to wait until after chemo for my exchange. I actually went every week for my fills, however, that was my choice. It could have been every 2 or 3 weeks. I didn't have any discomfort, so that's why I went every week.0 -
Oh yeah ...like Jean said,Jean 0609 said:Yes you can get fills during chemo

Oh yeah ...like Jean said, your fills and how often you have them depend on you. How well you do with them sets the stage of how often you get the fills.
Most of us will agree that you need to take fills slow...dont feel like your in a race to get it done...cuz then you might get stretch marks or thin skin or a number of other things. Just have patience when doing it and youll have better results.0 -
