I was a bad girl.
I hope everyone has a blessed day.

Damn the torpedos, full speed ahead...
I say, no matter what it is, if you get the chance, do it - while you still fell like it! My doctor actually encourages me to enjoy myself: travel, bike, swim, walk....whatever suits my fancy.
Quality of life is everything.

I spend an hour each day playing "Raft-WipeOut" with my grandkids in our pool, a very ROUGH athletic dunking game complete with crashing Big Balls off each others heads to knock you off your raft! It's a great workout, and I never gave my chemo or my port a THOUGHT! HA! Even when I am fatigues, somehow that game revives me. I'm with Carlene: LIVE!!!
But if you're on Doxil, well, friction can be bad. You may have to curtail the sliding, but surely not the pool!0 -

Oh that is absolutely priceless! LOL!
Another hit against cancer...I am so tired of cancer making us afraid
to do happy things or even think happy thoughts.
Hurray for you!

Doxil - Yes
Yes, I am on Doxil. I was on the Taxol in 2008 and did 6 infusions. Then the ugly beast... rared its head again in 2010 and now I am on the Doxil. The Doxil doesn't seem to bother me too much. I just get really fatigued on the 4th day. Of course, I have the hand/foot syndrome. I just tell everyone I tried to die my hair red and it got all over my hands. I have one more treatment of the doxil and then I will get a CT/Scan. That will make 8 infusions of it.

Good for You
Linda,
I was told too about the blisters with Doxil, so Saturday before my first treatment on Monday I went water skiing (had not gone for 3 summers). Got up on second try and skied until I got tired! Now I don't know if I will do that again this summer as I have a higher dose than normal because of the Clinical Trial, but I will do as much as I can as long as I feel like it.
You go girl!
Living for Eternity,
