Bonnie, I haven't been here in awhile but I do keep tabs and read how everyone is doing. You have been a true inspiration and help so many get through so much. I am praying for you and I hope you will be feeling better soon. Big ((((HUGS)))) Lisa
Monika, thank you so much for caring and sharing. Many thanks to each of you for your continued support. This song kind of says it all http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ciYQmlh4Xe4&feature=related
I am home and on pain meds and a couple antibiotics, today my plan is to contact our local hospital about the doc who decided I was to be treated as a hospice patient. If I would have been admitted there, no antibiotics or transfusion... I think it is my decision if I am hospice or not; or at least between my gyn/onc and me. Sure glad the U didn't think I am hospice yet and treated me. Have never called patient relations before, but even the nurses said don't forget to call them. Anyway still sleeping alot but scheduled to get avastin on tuesday. see what happens on tuesday, my platelets now are holding at 24, hemoglobin jumped to 10.8 after 2 units and hoping being radiation is done it will hold longer than 2 weeks, and unfortunately I remain neutropenic.
prayers back to everyone. Hugs Bonnie0 -

Hello there~
I haven't been here for a while; but I've sure been thinking about you and all of the other ladies here, and keeping ALL of us in my prayers, too. (I do see some of our friends on Facebook :-)
I am so sorry you're having a rough time, Bonnie.
You are such an amazing inspiration to all of us; and you prove that we can beat this thing no matter how much it takes.
I'll be keeping you in my prayers as you build your strength. Good luck with the Avastin on Tuesday. I had 6 Avastin treatments last Sept-Feb. I think it took the 3rd treatment before my CA dropped; so don't worry if that happens to you. It's working for me~ and I just know it's going to work for you, too.
Hang in there Sweetie~
Love & ((Hugs))

Met Bonnie
I usually don't
Met Bonnie
I usually don't post here, as I am a Colon Cancer Survivor but wanted to tell you that Bonnie and I met 3 years ago (when I came to this site) in the Chat room. We have been talking (via internet..here and FB) ever since.
3 weeks ago, I had the good fortune to meet Bonnie in person! How nice that was. And both Bonnie and I had lunch with yet another CSNer, Roxanne (Breast Cancer). Bonnie worked with her and we 3 had lunch.
It is so nice to finally meet the people you talk to for so long and with that said, if any of you can arrange to meet, it's worth it.
Lots of hugs and prayers to Bonnie
There is a picture on my Expression page.

Oh Bonnie sounds like we are on the same track. My family and I meet with Hospice tomorrrow.
I am also seeing a doctor at UT Medical Center that is checking on my taking Avastin. One of my doctors said insurance did not cover for Ovarian Cancer (Avastin). I should know more after tomorrow.I don't understand everything about Hospice.
Bonnie you are never far from my thoughts even though I may not be on here. I have been going and staying with my mother a couple days a week. That's been good, just to get away.
Well Bonnie you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Love and many hugs,

Hi Jan,
Thanks for the note, I don't post as often anymore either but watch your fb page for updates. I would think your insurance should pay for avastin now as medicare even does. Back in 2006 when I was on it, it was in trials and now used in even first line treatment for ovarian cancer.
Lots of prayers as you meet with the hospice people, I know they are there to help our whole health so we can continue to live our life in comfort. Let me know how the meeting goes and how you are, even if a short note on face book. Much Love Bonnie0
