That is definitely alot to digest
in a short amount of time. I am so sorry that you have so much on your plate right now. Take a deep breath and know that God is with you through this time and He is a peaceful refuge to resort to for strength, comfort and peace. From all you have stated it sounds to me that mastectomy would be your best option but you have to have a peace about doing that within yourself. I will be praying for you and hoping that these steps to your recovery will all go well and that you will be find your strength in God and feel His presence. God bless you and your family.

I am 38 with stage 3 breast
I am 38 with stage 3 breast cancer. I did my chemo first to try to shrink the tumor (8.8 cm). I have one more chemo treatment next week, a modified radical mastectomy at the end of August, 6 1/2 weeks of radiation and then hopefully some reconstruction. I will pray for you.0 -
Your not alone.
I felt the same way very overwhelmed. It does get easier and clearer as time goes by. Do you have a support team? We are always here for you anytime. I wish you all the best and peace. Take care and keep us posted. Take care Kay0 -
Diagnosed at 32
I felt the same way. I even got frustrated when things were moving slowly...test after test before a treatment plan... But I remind my self I am fighting this disease... It is a rigorous process of healing. Keep the faith and express your feelings both negative and positive....It helps with emotional healing.0 -
I was diagnosed . . .
at the beginning of January this year . . . I spent at least the next 4 months in the "twilight zone" - in a place I had never been before and never would have imagined even existed. I felt like so many things were just spinning out of control all around me. I probably would have felt that way for even longer, except that I ended up not getting chemo . . . which I was actually scheduled for and thought, for a month & a half, that I would be getting.
You are feeling what anybody, I'm guessing, would at this point with all that you have going on. It definitely turns one's world upside down. Things will eventually calm down, sooner than later, I hope. It's a scary time . . . and, yes, it all happens SO FAST.
I hope you will draw strength from the support that you have here - from others who know what it feels like to go through this.
Praying that your treatments go well . . . remember that you are not alone - we're here for you and with you.
Thoughts & prayers . . .

I'm 36 and was diagnosed in may...
I did think I would get this so early and understand how you feel. It sucks plain and simple, but there is hope. I'm early stage triple negative so our schedules will be different but we will get through it. I wish you all the best.

in a fog - bumping into walls -- It is the worst feeling in the world to me, not to be in control of this beast! Having to be available 24 hours a day - changes in my appointments, treatments and surgeries .. Hate it!
Be kind to yourself, and hold our doctors - Oncologist, Breast Cancer Specialist, Plastic's or general Family Care Physician .. accountable... If something does add up, or make sense to you .. ask for clarification - question procedures and testing.. Make sure you are a part of the decision making .. It is you body ...
Good Luck,

Sorry
That you are going through so much, all of us sisters have been there and im glad you are here now too. This site has been my rock and has helped so much. For me i was diagnosed on April 10, 2009. It was a month before i saw the breast surgeon, but once that appointment happened, it felt like i was at a dr everyday. Just try to take it one day at a time. It is alot to have to endure and go through and you will be very busy and get tired of it. But look at it this way, after your next appointment, you are one step closer to being free. Fight and stay strong.
Take care

Can,
My margins are not clear after lumpectomy... Now I must decide between a mastectomy or another lumpectomy...
Since my pathology report showed 11/13 lymph nodes...My Med Onc said I need chemo before the next surgery...so I have a few months to decide...Please keep me abreast of your thoughts and the things you learn...
I am stage two too...0
