I am moving across the country and need to find new Onco. -HELP
my bones. I want to move closer to my family in Washington state. I now live in Ohio and have a good Oncologist but where I am moving is a small town - Moses Lake, Washington and I know my dr. choices will be very limited at best. Is there anyone out there who is from that area of the country who can recommend a doctor to me. PLEASE, PLEAAAAAAAAAAAASE help.
Thanks,
Peggy

Spokane
Moses Lake is not very big - or at least the last time I was there but that's been 15 years. Spokane is about 100 miles to the east and is a fair sized town. WAZU (WA State Univ.) is there. You might also try Ellensburg (70 miles to the west) as I think it's bigger than Moses Lake.
Sorry that's all the help I can give. We haven't lived in WA since '95 and we lived on Whidbey Island, Puget Sound.

Sort of close to Moses Lake
I live in a suburb of Seattle and I would be happy to give you my oncologist's name if you want, but I wasn't sure you would want to work with anyone in Seattle. It's about 170 miles from Moses Lake so it's not really close by. I'm sure you can find someone closer that wouldn't require that kind of travel. You also might try the Tri-City area (Pasco/Richland/Kennewick - about 70 miles from Moses Lake). They are all bigger than Moses Lake but much closer than Seattle.
Good luck with your search and take care!0 -
Spokane
I did my chemo in Spokane with an oncologist last name Chaudry. Great bunch of folks, work out of Dr.'s Bldg at Mercy Med. They might be able to help you find someone closer to Moses Lake. They are available on internet search for Spokane area. Kathryn0 -

Hope the very best in relocation, and finding a new specialist. Please let keep you posted.
