My husband just started this drug regimen. His WBCs and RBCs are down after his first treatment. Has anyone experienced this and how long did this last for you? Did the low blood counts affect your treatment plan? What helped?

I am actually writing for a friend whose computer is not working. Her husband is to receive Neulastra so hopefully he will be able to continue with his chemo plans. He decided to go ahead with his second treatment hoping that the neulastra would kick in and prevent any further decline in his counts. Did your daughter have any other signficant side effects on the Treanda? How long ago was this? It's wonderful that she is doing so well.
