So sorry, Anna. I wish there was something I could do or say. Just know that I am thinking about you and your husband and I hope that there is still another trial that can help slow it down.
It's easy to say STAY STRONG but not so easy to do. Love Paula0 -

I'm so sorry. There just isn't anything I can say to ease the pain of what you are both going through. I just want you to know I'm thinking about you, and hoping for the best, and that he can keep the pain under control.0 -
Anna
What a true love you have for your husband. It is not easy being the caregiver and I pray that you have the strength to also take care of yourself and your husband. He must be the love of your life.
Keep fighting! It sounds like he is in good hands with the clinical trials and I am happy he is on a list of some sort.
Thank you for your kind words to everyone else on this board. I agree, Fight on.

Thanks so much for the update on Frank. I have had you guys on my mind for a while now as well as in my prayers. This just makes me so sad. You guys have been thru the wringer over and over. I so admire your persistance and will. You are both an inspiration to us all. Anna, if you want to talk please do not hesitate to call me. You got my number. Please tell Frank I am thinking about him and sending heavy duty GOOD VIBES his way. Love to you both.

I am sorry
I swear the only thing worse than having colon cancer yourself, is watching a loved one struggle with it, I hope for strength and peace for you both.0 -

I am so sorry to hear this and I am glad I was able to provide an encouraging word or two along the way. Things have been rough on the cancer board lately.
So sorry... I am frustrated at the slow pace of care and research while we spend so much money on stupid stuff... Prayers headed your way right now.

I am with you - frustrated at the inability of medical science to do more to treat this disease. I am not yet in dire straits but I have multiple lung mets for which we cannot seem to find an effective treatment. I am so strong physically - it absolutely disgusts me that medical science cannot do better.0 -
aarraagghh
Listen, I did Traditional Chinese Medicine; I used Chinese herbs
instead of mainstream medicine.
But you don't have to chose one or the other, you can do the
mainstream chemo, and you can do TCM along with it, or juicing,
or anything else......
It's worth the try, isn't it?
I'm so, so sick of seeing my friends suffer. I have lost so many
friends this year, and each one swore by the mainstream medicine
they took, and refused to try anything else.
There are other options that can be taken along with chemo if you
so insist, but please, don't keep putting all your marbles in one bag.
I am going to have to take a break from this forum... It's 3am again
another night, and I just can't continue crying over this stuff anymore.
I hope those that need to find a way, find that way; I wish I had a
brighter light to shine......
Best of health to all.

@Anna: I lost whom I could pray too...but that doesn't mean I will not cross my fingers for your husband..I will..I just wish I could do more to people...but I will be a scientist and I will not let the cancer win! This is something I promised to myself, to my mom and to life!!! It makes me sooooooooo mad to read/hear how people are losing. I cannot let that happen...enough is enough! It has taken away waaaaay too many people, now it's time for a revenge! Good luck to your husband, tell him not to give up! Fight, fight, fight! I will think of you and your husband and will HOPE!
Please take care,
- Sophie

Thanks to each of you that wrote to encourage on in this vicious fight. It seems we won some battle but won't win the war. Just praying that the pain can be kept down and are so thankful for each day we still have together. We keep each one of your in our prayers and thoughts. You all have been such a comfort to me, when I up to all hours not sleeping. Cancer is such a terrible disease...I saw my mother suffer and die with this monster back in 1987 and now I am watching my husband. A cure needs to be found or at least what is causing such a rampage of this disease. Love and best wishes to each of you. Again thanks so much for taking a moment of your time to support and encourage us.
