It is "odd" how differentroseann4 said:Ask if the radiologist is on duty.
When I had my 6 month mammo, I asked if it could be read while I was waiting. They said yes because the radiologist is on duty. So I knew it was clear before I left. What a relief! Good luck. I'm sure you are fine.

It is "odd" how different hospitals/clinics are! When I had my liver biopsy done a month ago, there was a Dr, radiologist and also a pathologist there for the procedure. They told the Dr doing the procedure if there was enough tissue taken and guided all of the steps so that I didn't have to have a 2nd biopsy. Even so, they still wouldn't tell ME what they saw! I had to wait for the results to get to my oncologist and have him tell me ( what I truly already knoew in my heart) the results a few days later when I had an appointment with him! Waiting, waiting, waiting!
