How I WISH my tubes were in
How I WISH my tubes were in for the same surgery as yours JoJo! I just have to be patient and wait for the new boobs though You know what, I thought my cat would be the same way with my tubes, because he is SUCH a mama's boy and has been by my side since I came home from the hospital, but he just sniffed at the drains & left them alone. That is pretty funny though! How are you feeling now?
*hugs*

much alike - JoJo and Heatherbelle. My girl (Morkie hybrid dog) is my girl - and she insists on laying right next to me in bed .. pushes my husband and children away .. what she does is ... take charge =. Lays at the foot of our bed and does not allow anyone near me - Seriously -- this goes on for about 2 weeks, then she relaxes - and starts to act and play like a dog. Otherwise for 2 weeks - she stays right next to me. My husband picks her up off the bed and takes her outside 5 times a day to potty. And honestly, after my bi lateral and subsequent breast surgies .. It was very nice to be all alone with my Bailey Storm in our Cal King size bed. I sleep very well, .. something that I do not tell my husband ...
I love your cat story ...

Glad to hear you're doing better! I'm finding that,too-getting better each day. Easier to move, to get myself up and out of bed. I had 1 drain tube removed in the hospital the day I left, I have 2 still in. I see my plastic surgeon on Tuesday so hopefully I can get them taken out then. They really aren't bothering me though, not itchy or pulling. My chest just feels like I had a major muscle pulled in it. I guess in a way, though, I have!
So how do yours look? Are you happy with them? I'm so excited for you I didn't think I would have gotten a fill already, but my surgeon already put in 150cc of saline in the expanders, and he's going to see me every 2 weeks for a fill up. I'm totally letting myself get all excited about this part of the whole situation - we must be doing something right if we can find a sunny spot in a breast cancer diagnosis
*hugs* (but not too hard -don't want to squish your new ones!)

Aww sounds like you have one spolied little doggie there Vicki Sam (which, in my opinion, is how our pets SHOULD be -spoiled!). My Jack (10 yr big fluffy male cat) hasn't left my side since I've come home. He does let others come near me, though, but he makes sure he gets the closest snuggle spot to momma!
I know what you mean about sleeping well while sleeping alone-my husband can be quite a snorer as well as a tooth-grinder...0 -
Gotta love those animalssea60 said:Cats play with the darndest things
Cute story, and yes, good idea to keep her away from you until you can get them off.
Take care friend!
Blessings,
Sylvia
Well I have 5 dogs, 4 of those weighing between 75 pounds to 135 pounds. We have figured out a way for all of us to be comfortable on the bed during day. The rule is everyone off the bed when hubby gets home. We just can't have a thunderstorm. The thunder means everyone has to touch mom. Not that comfortable yet, maybe when the drains come out.0
