Just wondering whats up with soccerfreaks, miss his great sense of humor and helpful info. Hope every thing is well. soccerfreaks, stayingcalm, medi, cobra & nodawgs (what a guy) and many others are what makes this site so great to all of us fighting this beast. Spent many nights reading their blogs. Best of health to all..... dan620

    I miss soccerfreaks, too
    I think he just needed a break. I feel the same way sometimes, which is why I've been also spending time at Inspire. That also wears pretty thin after a while, so I come back here :)
    I feel like this is my cancer home site, though.

    Everyone is missing Joe....
    I also post on the head and neck forum and Mick (on H&N) has been trying to find Joe also. Mick has sent Joe an e-mail to check on him and make sure he is alright. He said he would let us know if he heard anything from him.

    Stayingcalm, I hope you are right that Joe just needed a break as we all do at times.

    Joe is ok...
    Tricia02 just posted on the head and neck forum that she spoke to Joe last week and he is ok.

    Wish he would come back to the boards but at least we know he is well ;-)

    nodawgs passed away last year, June 1, I think. Miss him too.

    Thank you all for the concern and for the most generous words.

    I am doing well, as far as I know, and will be seeing a doc (ENTMan) on Friday to reconfirm that.

    In the meantime, I intend to get re-engaged here, as the media wonks might say. I look forward to sharing experiences and emotions with you and others.

    Happy to see your smiling face again...
    I too have missed your insights and especially your humor - you were one of the first to respond to me when I was first online here after my diagnosis and your words were welcoming and reassuring despite as you say "the membership requirements for this club" - hope all is well with you when you see the ENTMan - connie.
