Good News on 1st Set of Followup Scans

Diagnosed on 03-04-10. Stage 2 N2M0.
Started Protocol on 04-05-10.
Hospital 05-12-10 to 05-23-10.
Finished Protocol on 06-03-10.
Good news: I had a CT Scan done 07-06-10 and the booty cancer is gone completely. Also verified with "latex glove" exam and a proctoscope. My butt is no longer broken.
Also good news: The lymph node that was effected has shrunk from the size of a lime to the size of a lima bean. Since there was still a residual mass in the pelvic lymph, I had a PET Scan on 07-14-10 to see if it was "active" or "hot." Thankfully it was NOT hot. "Full metabolic resolution of the previously demonstrated abnormalities... negative for the metabolic findings of malignancy."
Now we will keep an eye on things with "latex glove" exams, and a CT Scan in 3 months.
Thanks so much to all of you for all your help through this ordeal. Your support has meant the world to me.
