question regarding CEA

In Nov. husband's CEA was 1.8, April 2010 it was .7, this week 1.0. I know that isn't high, but do you think something might be brewing or is this natural. Nurse said it was normal, but I wonder do they look back to see what the last level was. Do you think this is a sign that in Oct. it might be a little higher? Next CT is in October.     Mine has never been that low
    And is bouncing around between 2-4. My drs aren't worried. It was highest post-op, during chemo, and has gone down and up since.

    they definitely look for trends
    but CEA still isn't a good marker for many. For me it is, but I don't think my numbers have ever been that low, except after my initial resection back in 04. Mine are up over 200 currently :(
