Hi Megan, I'm just learning my way around this site. I didn't know that you could add posts to your favorites. I was just trying to figure out how to keep track of everything. Thanks again. Hugs, Jean0 -

Hi, Suzanne. I'll be the devil's advocate here and say that I did not purchase a wig. I live in Florida and was going through chemo last year August through October. I went to a shop here that specializes in breast cancer supplies and products and actually tried on a couple of wigs. The owner ordered 2 wigs for me to try one was a Raquel Welch and another brand. When they came in, I wasn't impressed in me in a wig. So, I basically wore head wraps and ball caps. I ordered some beautiful headwraps from www.4women.com. I finished my radiation on Christmas Eve 2009 and got rid of the head coverings Mid February. Good luck to you.
Lots of great posts here, helpful to so many!0 -

www.thelydiaproject.org sent me a free tote bag with lotion, note pads, etc. My netbook fits in the bag perfectly and my hospital for chemo is wifi ready. It makes the 4 hours go by much quicker.
Thanks for the website. I got my tote bag today. You can choose a FAITH, HOPE or LOVE tote bag. You were right, it is the perfect size for a netbook. Hugs, Jean0 -

thank you so much Sue youRitzy said:Some sites!
I didn't take chemo, but, here are some websites that I found that might help!
FranceLuxe.com Beautiful silk head wraps but expensive. If you are a woman or girl experiencing a loss or thinning of hair as a result of illness or treatment, they will send you a scarf in the pattern and color of your choosing. Free. Click on the "Good Wishes" logo in the upper right hand corner of the page for more information.
OrgSites.com Wiggs for Love is a organization in memory of Mary (Spagnoli) Cron who lost her battle with breast cancer. Her family and friends have formed Wigs for Love, enabling breast cancer patients who have lost their hair due to chemo or radiation to receive a wig at no charge to them.
TheRainbowShop.com If you're looking for a headwrap with a tie dye look, this is good option. 100% cotton and several style options.
al-muminat.com Square cotton scarves. Small selection but good prices.
StarScarves.com 42"x42" square. Small selection good prices.
RadWrapz.com Solid color head wraps. only a hand full to choose from but cheap. Buy two, get one free.
CowboyWildRags.com Generous size, square, silk scarves. Like most silk fabric, they are moderately expensive.
Anokhiusa.com 100% cotton scarves and comes in several sizes. Decent prices for the 30"x30".
Everyone that got a scarf thru FranceLuxe.com absolutely loved them. They were beautiful and free.

I am bumping this up. There are some websites here with headcovers. Hope this helps.
I love all the great websites you've all listed. I have a question. I did the breast cancer walk last May and saw a group of ladies with crocheted (sp) hats that looked like a breast! they looked so great. they were pink with a little brown "nipple" on the top. Anyone seen a pattern for anything like this? I would love to get some going for the walk for next year.0 -

I received a very pretty tote bag from Thelydiaproject.org a few weeks back. You can just go to their website & request a tote, it's handmade by a volunteer. Very pretty & so thoughtful. There are some great organizations out there!
