Saw the orthopedic specialist
I saw the orthopedic specialist yesterday, he said that the pictures did not really show enough and that the bone scan will give them a better idea, he did say that the lesion was not very defined, and that there was not much they could do until I saw my oncono. He did say that it could be a stress injury in the process of healing also. He also said that the chances were that after I have the bone scan I will more then likley have either a pet scan or a bone biopsey, the chance are highter that it will be a bone biopsey (ouch) because that will tell also if it is a bone infection and what kind.
So the bus will going around on Wednesday to pick up all those who are going with me for the bone scan and the oncono, see you then.

Save me a seat!
I will be along for the ride, wherever it takes you, TJ! I'm hoping it's a happy place, but if for any reason it isn't, I'll just keep on riding along with you.
See you Wednesday!0 -

Save me a seat on the bus!
Save me a seat on the bus! I have been practicing singing "99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall", as well as 'The Wheels on the Bus go Round and Round"~ woot woot!
I don't know about a bone biopsy, but for the record, my liver bopsy was painless ( and yes, I was awake for it!) and they also aspirated my lung the same day which also did not hurt.
I am glad that at least something dreadful isn't obvious~so let's keep hoping it isn't anything worse than a stress fracture, ( which in your case will be a temper-tamtrum fracture) or an infection, or a bird building a nest or something!
What time did you say the bus is leaving???
Hugs,

I am not sure what the difference is completely, maybe one of our sisters can explain it better, but from what I understand the bone will focus on the bone where the scan will also focus on the tissue around it giving a different kind of view0 -
