Hey guys, I'm still here just have been in and out of the ER a lot. As soon as we make positive steps we suffer a setback. I began peeing large amounts of blood yesterday and my plattlets and red cell count crashed. They gave me transfusions ect. and stabilized it. My gallbladders surgery is healing slowly and still very sore. They give me say 4-8 months depending on how I hold up to the chemo so have been preparing the family, it's SO hard and exhausting.

    sorry
    Hi,

I'm sorry to hear the troubles you've been having. I guess the peeing blood is from low platelets. That's what my onc warned me of. Said my platelets have been borderline, but not too bad & said that when they go really low I'd know it because I'd get lots of bruises and probably start urinating blood. Hopefully the transfusions will help you get the levels up again.
Re. time lines of how much time you have left... just remember God's timeline isn't always the same as the doctors'. I'm hoping you will surpass the doctors' timeline.

You take care and thank you for updating us- blessings to you and your family as you go through this.

    Hi PapaJedi,
    I'm not sure

    Hi PapaJedi,
I'm not sure what is in the background of your pic, but I like it. It looks like you have angel wings. I'm sorry that you have been in the hospital with complications.I can't imagine how mentally and physically exhausted you must feel. I will keep you in my thoughts.

    Hi Papajedi,
    It sounds like

    Hi Papajedi,

It sounds like you have been through a lot. I am so sorry for this. I agree with Lisa; the doctors cannot predict accurately + I hope the chemo works well for you.

    Sorry
I'm so sorry you're having such a hard time. If (big if) the doctors are correct in their timetable, it would be so wonderful if you could at least feel really well and make the most of this time with your family. Of course, I'm hoping and praying they are just completely off!

    *hugs*

    Awww.....
Hoping you get well from that surgery soon papajedi, I don't ever believe what a doctor says when they give you those darn timetables. Only God knows, and there are people who have proved their doctors who gave them a timeline wrong, and are still here years later! Keep on living, smile everyday, and just make sure nothing stops you from being you :)

My thoughts and prayers are with you!

    Hugsss!

    Papajedi,

Sorry it is so hard right now. It sounds like the transfusions are just what you needed. No one knows how much time we have. I am just praying that you have some joy filled, pain free days.

    Aloha
