Close friends wedding on the 3rd and family wedding on the 10th. My legs were just starting to uncramp from dancing when I over-used them again. Gosh, I wish my knees were 20 yrs younger! But, when they start playing 'my' music... you know? & still dancing in the same fashion as when those songs were 1st popular (tee-hee).

Hubby's grandson was married Saturday. His daughter, from Texas, along with grandaughter and 3 yr old great-grandson (whom we've never met) stayed with us for a few days. Wonderful! It's so hard to get everyone together... But, all his kids - original 4 plus our (22 yr old daughter) and 9 out of 12 grandchildren were there (and the great). As the grandkids are starting to marry, I expect there will be more greats after a bit.

It's so nice to have good times and family, even in the midst of, well, not such good times.

Sue

'normal' is the most precious gift....
I know it always gave ME a big boost during treatment!!!!

(I actually had my girlfriend ask me out for a 'day of no cancer'...we didn't talk about it, tried not to even think about it...it was soooooo nice!!!!)

    Hugs, Kathi

That is just the type of post I LOVE reading! If we are going to be tired from the Beast, surgeries, treatment, stress etc etc~ we may as well be EXHAUSTED from fun and dancing and celebrations! Hooray for you! While you are walking gingerly and rubbing your sore knees and feet, please remember to smile as you relive what you were doing !

    Hugs,

    Fantastic
I'd never have sore knees or anything else for that matter from dancing - I can't dance - never have been able to - I got kicked out of every dance class Mom ever put me in as a kid. Hubby isn't into dancing either so it works out fine for us.

Sue ... I so glad you have a wonderful time
and enjoyed yourself at the wedding. Dancing, visiting and just being NORMAL, again. How long has it been - since I was just tired from having a good time ? Another thing to add to my bucket list .
