This is a follow up about the ENT my dad went to. When we went to see the chemo doctor today the first thing he told my was that the ENT told him he was really happy with my dad progress. I can not believe that he could not have said that to us. The chemo doctor could not see anything or feel anything that caused him concern.

We talked about the scans and the chance of false positive. He seemed to be impressed that I knew this things not angery. I believe now that the ENT did not know what I was talking about.

We are not going to do the scan at the end of August or first of September. He said that will give him a baseline. I am fine with that becasue I trust this doctor. He also told me there was no way to know at this point if he would need surgery. He even gave us more details about the surgery then the ENT.

I am now in the process of looking for a new ENT. Thank you so much for all of your advice. It made me feel so much better.

    Kathy, I'm glad you feel
Kathy, I'm glad you feel better about the tests and docs now. A doc with a good bedside manner is important when discussing such a scarey diagnosis. I'm very happy that all looks good for your dad now. PRAYERS really do get answered!!!!!!1
God bless you and your family,
