Vacation was GREAT, but I'm home now...

Hello everyone. Two weeks is a long time to be away. I did manage to check in now and then to catch up here--whenever there was a computer available, but too busy to write much. I hope you all are doing well.

I'd never been to Bodega Bay, and it was just wonderful! We even saw a whale spouting, but were not able to see the whale itself. It was a thrill just the same. This was a road trip. Coming back we drove over Red Mountain. Incredible scenery if you can keep your eyes open to look. Narrow road, no guard rails, and it's a very LONG way down!

Real life starts anew tomorrow. It's a year this month since my DX. Tomorrow I get a mammogram. On Friday I'm scheduled for an MRI on my left shoulder. Mets to bone showed a tumor there last year, and I've had some "suspicious" discomfort (but not pain pe se). Even though Doctor thinks what I'm feeling is probably not related to the cancer, he wants to get it checked just in case. (I really, really like my onc. He pays attention to my concerns).

So glad to be home, sleeping in my own bed. I've missed you all. God Bless. Gracie
