I just had my 3 month check
I just had my 3 month check up post treatment. NED. I guess each person finds their own strength in their own way. For me I look at how far I have come to get here today. A year ago I had cancer, a lot of cancer, all over my uterus. Today I have no detectable cancer. I am a happy gal. Other than that I find comfort in living each day in as healthy manner as I can. Having a positive attitude. And thanking God and my health care team, and family for my good health.0 -
Scan
I've had 4 CT scans and 1 MRI and each one causes stress. I'm great up until the day after scan then worry about results when see doc in a week or so.
I asked this same question to my local therapy group here, and they all told me no matter how far away we are from our treatments, we're still full of concern. They recommended keeping myself busy -- my mind on other things. When I heard that I knew it's just part of the deal and I'm no different than others.
Seems that after each scan and nothing is found, the next one is easier. I'm NED today and keep on dancing.
Best of luck and know we're all here for you...0 -

For what my 2 cents are worth......
1) Do all you can to stay in the NOW - don't get stuck in past for fast forward to future.
2) DISTRACTION!!! Stay active and not think about it!!!
3) Try not to stress things you can't control.
Best wishes to you tomorrow. Mary Ann1 -

Plse keep us posted on results. Do some visualization while in doc's office or before -- imagine him telling you all is great....nothing found and you're NED. Do this over and over in your mind....works for me! We should program our minds to think what we want, not what we think (negative) will happen. THINK POSITIVE~
