May I ask you, how many chemo treatments did you have altogether?

I had 4 A/C (once every three weeks) before surgery to shrink the tumor. Then had 4 taxotere after surgery (once every 3 weeks). If the first 4 don't work, the surgeon will know after surgery. It didn't work completely for me (it decreased me to a stage 2 however) and that is why I had to have the additional chemo after surgery. Doesn't mean you will because everybody is different.

    I had...
4 rounds of AC that were every 2 weeks and then 12 weekly treatments of taxol. So that is 16 treatments. I am now taking tamoixfen for 5 years and I start radiation this week. I had lobular BC and it was in 12 of my lymph nodes, I was a stage 3. I am hoping the samething, will it be enough! Marianne

    Cytoxan and Taxotere
4 treatments, 1 every 3 weeks is also what I had.

Mine was done after surgery as I was Stage 1 and I opted for a lumpectomy. I was very lucky to have had very few side effects. No nausea at all - just fatigue, funky mouth, and some digestive/constipation issues.

I hope you will be as fortunate as I was with your chemo side effects.

    Take care,
    Cindy

I'm glad it's over. I lived to see the sun rise.
