    Ah ,but alas the Starfish......:)
    Remember.........?
with 5 appendages thought that if one appendage was lost it was doomed to peril, but then only to find that the appendage that had been taken off was to grow back even healthier than before. The liver is another that will regenerate itself if given the opportunity to do so. So as the Starfish thought the loss of a leg was soon to be its doom, it turns out that it was a blessing in disguise to be replaced by a healthier one. Yours Im sure will turn out the same some day. To become resectable and then offered the capability to regenerate itself, and there my hopeful one will be the answer to your diliema and the start of a new journey in life...Love and Hope to you ......Buzz

Ya gotta have faith sweetheart.....looks like ya got your wish.......

    Oh My Gosh
I am sooooooo happy, tears kept having to be blinked away at the onc's office.
In February I was offered Hospice (same week I got diagnosis)and advised to go home and enjoy life. I, being whom I am, insisted I wanted to try that chemo stuff, I have grandchildren and at the time another on the way, I just wasn't ready to go home and die.
They told me my liver wasn't resectiable and it was so bad I couldn't even get a transplant.
The tumor that was in my right kidney is now GONE. The tumor that was in my right ovary is GONE. My Liver is down to TWO tumors and they have SHRUNK!!! The tumor on my right side colon (the whole reason I discovered I had cancer, it had blocked my colon and I could no longer eat and poop, I could just eat and throw up everything I ate) is now UNDETECTIBLE!
I have now been offered surgery to get rid of the tumor that is at my sigmoid (hope I spelled that right) and uterus, and yes NOW they are offering a resection (sure I'm spelling that wrong) of my liver, cutting out the tumors.
HOW'S THAT FOR A GREAT CT SCAN!!!
Thanks all for your comments and the prayers.

    How wonderful! So glad

    I've never been into
I've never been into excercising, so no, didn't do that. Eating, stayed on my same crappy diet, meant to change but didn't,(rarely does a vegetable touch my lips) and kept on drinking my coca cola's, although I did start drinking a glass of water a day to help keep hydrated.
Now however, since I have the happy news, I'm determined to be at my best for the surgery, so started this morning getting up early, going for walks, drinking more water instead of cola's, cutting down on smoking (hoping to quit when my carton runs out), and putting the veggies on my grocery list. I believe I will stick to it,now that I've got good reason too!!!
There was only one real change I made, I started talking to that Supreme Being that I hoped would hear. Hadn't talked to "Him" in quite some time.

    heck rather be riding a
heck rather be riding a horse then dancing. LOL. I was raised on a ranch in Homer, Ak. Used to do the Rodeo's up there barrel racing and gymkhana.
Had Lady Ann, Little Annie, Baby, Paint and of course a couple of ponies, Smokey and Nipper.
Thanks for the pic. Your horse reminded me of Baby, she was a white quarter horse with baby blue eyes. We used to blacken around her eyes to try and keep the sun from causing her blindness. She eventually did go blind, but still lived a good life, throughout that blindness.
