I'm 8 days out from my first T/C treatment and know the hair will start to come out before long. I have 2 wigs, but don't know what's best to wear under them. Advice anyone?

I didnt wear mine much but IPunkindo said:Wig advice
I too wore a similar stocking cap under my wig. I kept getting headaches though. I did better just putting the wig on with nothing underneath. I don't know if anyone else does this though????
I didnt wear mine much but I never put something under it.0 -
I got wig caps with my wig.
I don't wear them often under my wig anymore - only if I know I am going to be out and about where it is very windy! Most of the time I just don't wear anything underneath it because it's just too hot. I'd ask your wig person if they have any wig caps you can wear with the wig if it doesn't feel secure.0 -
Naked for me!
Well - my head when under my wigs. Even back in the 60's and 70's when I had quite a few wigs (one was green for St. Paddy's Day), cascades, falls. wiglets. etc. (I ws a hairdresser so took care of them myself) I never wore anyting under them then - bothered me and the wigs didn't stay on as good. So I never thought about putting anything on when I had no hair. During the worst of winter - it gets quite nasty here in the Black Hills area and I have to be outside a lot with the horses) I would wear scarfs or stocking caps over the wig. Hair left early Sept 2009 and none tried to come back til April 2010 - so I went through all the winter sans hair and I get cold easy.
You can get wig caps at a wig store. panty hose cut work, one of my friends liked the top that you hook your garters into off of stockings or just go 'naked' underneath. "Whatever smokes your socks." (What you're comfortable with.)0
