Asking for prayer for Joni Earickson Tada dx with BC

Many of you may know the story of Joni who as a teenager dove into the water and broke her neck. She has lived as a quadraplegic for over 40 years. She's now 60 years old and has had such an impact on the lives of the disabled internationally. She has a beautiful voice, does artwork holding her pencil or paintbrush with her teeth, and has her own ministry called Joni and Friends. You can go to her website www.joniandfriends.org and read all about her story. Her strong witness to Jesus Christ and how He has been her Rock throughout her life is totally amazing. Well, I just found out that she's having breast cancer surgery on Monday June 28. I would ask for prayer for Joni as she faces another challenge - ever acknowledging her Lord as her Strength and the One in whom she holds complete trust.

    I heard yesterday
    Beth,
    I heard about this yesterday on K-Love radio when I was pulling into a Walgreens parking lot and I cried for her and said a prayer for her. Such a difficult set of circumstances that she is faced with but her faith is a testament to us that while putting our faith and trust in God, His grace truly is sufficient.

    Wow, i know of her story personally her husband, Mr Tada was my teacher in high school he just 2 teach Gov. at my high school i met her plenty of times im sorry 2 hear this about her she is a wonderful and strong lady she is def been through alot, i will keep her in my prayers

    I had the awesome chance of meeting her years ago in Colorado at a youth group trip. She is an amazing person with an amazing spirit. I will definately be praying for her.

    What a remarkable woman!
    I saw her website and was amazed and humbled listening to her speak about her diagnosis. She is in my prayers and I feel she is ALREADY a witness to those around her.
