Healthy? What is that? LOLMyTurnNow said:Snicker Apple Salad
Okay, I didn't see any requirement that "healthy" had to be a part of our receipe.....this is a "salad" after all. I can guarantee you smiles especially if you like caramel apples. So, here goes:
1 - 8 oz. package cream cheese at room temperature
1 - 8 oz. container of frozen non-dairy whipped topping, thawed
3/4 cup brown sugar
3 apples, any kind, chopped
3 large Snicker bars, chopped
Combine cream cheese, whipped topping and sugar until thoroughly mixed. Add apples and Snicker bars to cream cheese mixture, mix thoroughly. Eat. Smile.
Healthy? What is that? LOL Great recipes ladies!0 -
New to me -
4# grapes - green and red (but I like just red, very sweet ones)
1 brick cream cheese - room temp
1 container sour cream - room temp
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp vanila
chopped walnuts
mix cream cheese, sour cream, sugar and vanilla. Gently fold in grapes. Scatter the walnuts over the top. Chill.

Just had some for dessert! - I cut the recipe in half for the 2 of us.
And our usual - sliced tomato, sliced fresh mozzarella, fresh basil leaf with balsamic vinagrette.

Now that MyTurnNow's posted that Snicker Sugar Coma In A Bowl (I refuse to call it a salad), nobody's looking at her very healthy salad down here.
Heidi, can we add some Cool-Whip and Snickers bars to your salad? I'm certain I've read somewhere that they're proven cancer fighters!

This recipe is in the July/August issue of Vegetarian Times (if it's in a vegetarian magazine, it must be healthy, right...?). So -- because I'm always willing to go the extra mile for all of you -- I made it this afternoon. Yes, I know -- I'm a giver.
LORD HAVE MERCY, it's good, and really easy!

Chocolate S'Mores Pie
from Vegetarian Times
7 oz. 60% cacao bittersweet chocolate, chopped
1 cup soy creamer (I don't eat soy, so I just substituted half and half -- worked great)
1 large egg, room temperature
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 9-inch prepared graham cracker crust
1 1/2 cups marshmallow creme
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place chopped chocolate in heatproof bowl. Bring soy creamer to a simmer in small saucepan. Pour soy creamer over chocolate, and let stand 30 seconds, then whisk until combined. Whisk in egg, vanilla, and pinch of salt.
Pour chocolate mixture into crust. Cover crust edges with foil or pie shield. Place on baking sheet, and bake 25 minutes, or until softly set around edges but still loose in center when shaken. Cool 1 hour on wire rack.
Preheat broiler. Spread marshmallow creme on pie, and broil 30 seconds to 1 minute, or until top is golden brown.0 -
