Big Day.....

I have my last round of chemo this afternoon! After 6 months of treatments I will be done and moving on to radiation. Today I will also find out the results of a full body scan that I had done last week. I have been having pain in my right shoulder so the onc decided to send me in for a scan. Even though I kept busy over the weekend all I could think about was getting the results of this test. I had some pretty vivid dreams on Friday night, they told me it was in my bones in my dream. I woke up so scared! I have my fingers and toes crossed for good news! i will keep you all updated! Marianne

    Congratulations on getting through all your chemo treatments! You sound so very positive!!! The rads will fly by!

    Treats
    I am planning on taking treats to the nurses today for my graudation. I am going to give them a card too, thanking them for everything they do not only for me on my chemo day but what they do everyday for all of us! They are incredible people and I want them to know how much I have appericated their care. So what better way then a sweet treat!

    The Doctor Called....
    My bone scan was clear! Then I had an appointment with the rad Dr and I start that on July 12th! I took cookies into the nurses today and we had a good time talking and saying goodbye. They gave me a mug that says "Celebrate the Day" it was full of candy. So happy that I am making a step in the right direction! It feels wierd to know that I am not going back in, that has been my life for 6 months. When do I get to say I am dacing with NED? Thank you all for your kinds words of support, it means more than you will ever know! Marianne
