Greetings from Long-Lost dmc!

Whoohoo! I just joined Facebook and it is a blast! It would be great to keep in touch with all of you that way. If you want to join me on Facebook, send me a PM and I will give you my FB name.

But....that's not why I'm here today. I am here to inform all of my friends here that I got the "ALL CLEAR" last Friday June 11th and, for the FIRST TIME since my dx, I don't need to return for ONE YEAR!!! Come Dec 13th, 2010 it will be five years for me and I am now dancing with NED...I hope the dance is long and sweet.

Double WHOOHOO!

To celebrate, Emmy and I are going on a 28-day camping trip, by way of my home-state of Arkansas. Unfortunately, my husband needs to stay home to care for his aging dog who is unable to travel. But, as my daugther told me, "Mom, you need to find yourself. This will good for you." I think she is quite right! I'll be hiking, biking, painting, drawing, and reading while I camp with a dear four-legged friend.

I will be out-of-touch during that time, but hope to chat for the next few days before I take off to the plains of Iowa, the Ozarks of AR, and the Appalacians of TN and NC.

Celebration time! The Ozarks are calling me home.
