Way to go, Meena. I am
Way to go, Meena. I am happy that you brought them to their senses and are now able to begin your treatments to rid your body of this beast. This is more proof to all of us that you MUST be your own advocate. I shutter to think about all of our meek sisters out there that just don't have it in them to fight the insurance giants. Good luck on your treatments and I, too, will be thinking of all of us tonight as we unite in our candle ceremony.0 -

Yea! You did Great, Meena
Good for you, Meena. You reacted swiftly and smartly to the crass/immoral insurance decision. You showed that you fight for your rights and protection; the company will think twice before trying something like that on you again.
Now, I hope you are going to enjoy the beach and the waves, just as you described.0 -

It's too bad we have to jump thru hoops to get the treatment we need but you did good.
NEVER take an Insurance denial as the final word. If you have to, get info to back you up and tell them you will go to the media...then do it!0 -

I'm really glad this situation turned around. Chemo is a weird thing to be happy about, but it's gonna save your life because you've done it before and you're gonna do it again. I just know it:)

So happy Meena to read thisRE said:FANTASTIC!
Meena, I was telling my husband about this just yesterday, he was livid! During all my cancer battles he has been my warrior calling on my behalf and getting things done so I did not have to deal with it, he knows how fat headed insurance companies can be. Way to go girl sticking to your guns and letting them know you were not going to take this type of callus treatment from such a mindless machine known as \"insurance\". I am happy beyond works for you and I plan to share the good news with My Guy shortly.
Hugs to you!!!

Nice job of making your employers come to their senses and pony up for the treatments you need... obviously, you're not quite the shrinking violet you claim to be!With an attitude like yours, there's no way that this latest round of the devil is going to beat you this time, either.
I agree with Aortus. WTK A@@! Very happy for you now Meena!0
