Meena! This is just what I
Meena! This is just what I wanted to hear!!! I love the "double-speak" of insurance companies, don't you? OMG~ they should be so ashamed of themselves! I have often said there is no way that any of the CEO's or any other higher-up muckety-mucks would have denied for a nano-second anyone in their families.
Ok, enough of the rant and rave! I am so glad that your treatment was approved~ I got approval today for my PET scan, and will be having that on Monday afternoon. Though my liver biopsy does not need prior approval, I am still waiting on an appointment to get that done before my oncologist can work out my chemo schedule...
Congrats for not taking this one lying down~ you go, girl! YAY
Hugs,

FANTASTIC!
Meena, I was telling my husband about this just yesterday, he was livid! During all my cancer battles he has been my warrior calling on my behalf and getting things done so I did not have to deal with it, he knows how fat headed insurance companies can be. Way to go girl sticking to your guns and letting them know you were not going to take this type of callus treatment from such a mindless machine known as \"insurance\". I am happy beyond works for you and I plan to share the good news with My Guy shortly.
Hugs to you!!!

Meena... I am so happy that
Meena... I am so happy that issue is now behind you. As if you don't have enough to deal with, insurance companies are such a pain in the arse... ugh... good for you for not taking their cr*p.... I think it would be funny to see some of those CEO's in a room full of us pink sisters... could you imagine??? They would be tard and feathered....
I am so glad this hurtle is behind you and you can now focus you energy on treatment!
♥ & hugs,

Nice job of making your employers come to their senses and pony up for the treatments you need... obviously, you're not quite the shrinking violet you claim to be!With an attitude like yours, there's no way that this latest round of the devil is going to beat you this time, either.

That is super news, meena!
It's been said, but way to stick to your guns, girl!
Soooooooo relieved that this is behind you! Now you can just focus on getting through the treatment and letting it do what it was intended to do ... kick some cancer a**!
Blessings and peace,

I am smiling from ear to ear!!!
You GO, girl!!!
I had to do the same with my insurance. Threaten to call the Insurance Commission. They were ignoring a STAT request for referral to my surgeon...I strongly pointed out that STAT was checked on the form...and that that meant that they had 24 hours to respond...it had been 3 days....Magically, it was approved within hours...I HATE insurance overseers!!!
