the spinal tap a/k/a lumbar puncture is PAINFUL dont let anyone tell you different!!!

    I'll second that, Libby. I had a spinal tap prior to deliverying my daughter. Not fun, for sure!! Take care and thank goodness that's over, huh?

    Was that for pain? or testing?
    I know they did a spinal block for pain with my colon surgery. Luckily, it was done while I was still under. But then, I didn't use it very much...lol...made me wackier (is that even a WORD????ROFL!) than normal-I know, hard to believe!!!

    I'm sorry you had such pain. I must be having sympathy pain with you....threw out my back last Tuesday and am still suffering from muscle spasms...WHEW! The pain takes my breath away!!! (Got the GOOD drugs on Friday from my doc...lol...so now it's either take the hydrocondone, or sell it for 10 times the cost....JUST KIDDING!!!!!).
