Krista
For those of you who know/remember Krista (kristasplace), she's had a tough time lately. She was in the hospital for exploratory surgery recently and just got home. They discovered the ovaries and uterus were lighting up on a PET and today she posted on FB that it is, indeed, cancerous. They're not sure what type yet, though (I guess meaning, whether it's a new cancer or metastsized colorectal). They also discovered six (I think she said six) hernias during the exploratory surgery, which they fixed while they were in there. She's very sore and I believe is still awaiting to see what will be done next.
Krista hasn't posted much on here, lately, so I thought I'd share this news. Krista, if you're reading this, I hope that you don't mind that I posted this. Correct anything I said and, of course, add to it when you're able. We care about you!!

Missed Krista
Absolutely we care about you, Krista!
Thanks so much, Lisa - this gal has had one rough ride for as long as I can remember.
I hate to hear about this latest news of cancer showing up again. She could really use a break and I hope she gets one.
Glad they they were able to repair the hernias but now she's got all of us this to contend with.
Krista - get well and we want to hear from you. I'm sorry you are facing all of this.

So Very Sorry
So sorry to hear this news. Haven't seen her post much lately and been wondering how she was doing but this is not the news that anyone wants to hear. Hoping that she will get better soon and just know that she is being thought of.

Thank you, Lisa, for posting this
I didn't know if i'd be able to type for very long to post an update, so thanks to Lisa for posting this. Thanks to everyone for your well wishes, and loving posts. It made me very emotional. I'm having a rough time with bowel incontinence since the general surgeon had to reconstruct my innards, and now my body is in shock. I know it will pass soon enough. Then i will have to deal with the cancer issue, which neither oncologist will admit is theirs! The obgyn swears it's colorectal spread, and the colorectal onc doesn't agree. The path hasn't come back yet. They only took one ovary which is disturbing to me. The obgyn said the cancer is probably everywhere, and she's expecting the chemo to wipe it out. I don't know if i'm going to go the chemo route, and i hope her decision not to remove that ovary doesn't force me into doing it.
Wow, i'm worn out! I will post again when i know more.
Thank you all, i love you!
