gleevec for treatment of NHL

Hello all,

I was watching the Dr. Oz show on tuesday, may 11. The subject was the chemo drug "Gleevec".
It was an all inspiring show. People that were on death's door, including hospice, and months to live. Dr. Oz had about 20 patients on the show, all that were hopeless. Amazing as it may seem, they all looked wonderful and are doing very, very well.

I am wondering, is this drug being used for NHL?

    I too saw that show before I knew that I had cancer. I was wondering the same thing now. Anyone?? Any ideas??

    Gleevec
    I believe that Gleevec is used for CML and in some instances CLL and a leukemia that is classified as a lymphoma but have not heared of it being used for NHL.

    Yes, you are correct. Gleevec is indeed used for cml. I was just wondering it's use for NHL
