Sorry took me all day to post........good news so far!!

I am sorry it took all day to post.....I was a "mess" this morning when I went to the doctor but figured it was nerves.
My doctor confirmed the one of course was a cyst.
The second the doctor said came back as "lymphoid and follicular lymphoid hyperplasia"...It continues to say the "specimen is being forwarded to a reference laboratory for T and B-cell rearrangement studies for further analysis".
The doctor does not seem too concerned about it being sent to another lab.......would be like a test for "lymphoma" he said. He doesn't think that is going to come back positive...but it will take a week for that to come back.
I took a copy of biopsy report so that I could type it on here.
I feel relieved of course-but I am sick today.
Fever, coughing,nausea......think I did myself in with my nerves this week.
I haven't eaten since Sunday, probably just wore myself down.
I am going to check back in here tomorrow.......I have to go lay back down.

    Hi Jill
    According to what you are saying the Doc don’t seam to worried that is a good sign so try to get some rest no matter what the out come you will need your strength.

    I hope you get the ALL clear soon! All the waiting can be hard on your nerves I know but, take care of yourself- breathe deep, rest, and by all means eat and stay hydrated.

    It sounds like good news so far. Please try to get some rest. Stress can really make you sick. I know, I did the same things to myself waiting for my dad results.

    I'm with the others - sounds good so far. Hope you can get some rest and take care of yourself now. Sorry you have to wait a week for test results. Here's hoping they're good.

    More proof that prayers do work ;-) I looked up lymphoid and follicular lymphoid hyperplasia to try to see what it meant - still confused - lol. If your doctor doesn't seem too concerned at this time I would relax and try to start enjoying your life again.

    Rest up and get yourself healthy again, stress can do a tune on your body.

    Thank you for your best wishes....I do need to give myself a little break and take care of myself a bit more.......really got myself sick.
    Glenna-I looked it up briefly yesterday as I spent the majority of the day in bed sick. I looked it up a little online myself and was still confused too.

    Hi Jill, as I said I looked it up but don't understand half of what they said, I did feel that it might possibly be less serious than cancer as I know it mentioned benign tumors. Hope I was reading it right and this turns out to be something easily cured.

    Waiting is tough. try and keep some normalcy. Distractions help such as concerts, trips to the zoo, whatever gets your mind engaged for any length of time. Please don't forget to eat and exercise when you recoup. Hoping you don't become a regular around here, no offense, just good wishes!

    hello everyone
    I just wanted to let you all know that I am still checking in. I am feeling better than I was as far as nerves.....just a few more days of waiting.
    I backed out of the contract on the sale of my home.....just too much for right now.
    Thinking of you all.....and thank you ALL for your well wishes!! Jill

    I know how it is, at least they found out what you had before surgery. I had a major neck dissection for what the patholgist said was cancer. Turned out it wasnt cancer at all but a tumor found mostly in kids called " pilomatrixoma". It has been 9 wks and I still have tightness and pain and numbness.Thats ok though, I dont have cancer, I just wish they would have found that out before hand.
    I am so glad you are going to be fine.
