I havent been on here the last few weeks, as mom ended up back in the hospital with her obstruction from her original resection surgery April 14. She had another major surgery Thursday to correct the problem and is now in SICU again. Good news is the dr. fixed the problem and the spots on the liver hadnt changed since the last surgery. Bad news is she went into this surgery being very weak and is having a really slow rough recovery so far. She had to have a blood transfusion today and went back on oxygen. It was so hard sitting there watching her tonight and watching all those monitors. She said she is just getting discouraged with all the tubes and wires hanging out of her. This is so hard! She is only 61 and having such a hard time already. Please keep her in your prayers as she tries so hard for a good recovery this time.

prayers said!
Your mother will get stronger every day. I didn't mind all the wires and such when I needed them. I knew if I rang that nurses' bell and nobody came, all i had to do was "accidentally" disconnect one of those wires and in somebody ran! When I got to feeling well enough for the monitors to be an annoyance, i started campaigning to have them removed! I pray God wraps you both in His arms and you are comforted and strengthened through the days ahead.
