I'm sorry that you are having to go through this. It's bad enough just fighting the cancer.
All I can suggest is to contact your local ACS and see if they can offer any assistance. Or steer you in the direction to get some financial relief. They are very good at what they do....helping people who have cancer.

Hello, Sorry you are in this situation. Mine is/was similiar, had ovarian while becoming unemployed. Do you go to a cancer center? If so, ask the social workers there to help you. I could not afford COBRA or any kind of insurance, so I went under charity care. You might have to fill out oodles of paperwork and it does get to you, but it may be worth a try. The American Cancer society also has programs for those undergoing treatment...such as covering transportation costs if you are in active treatment. Also check with your local utility companies about programs they have. If you are low income, they can help you. It also depends on the state you live in. I wish you the best with things, Cindy0 -
