Two special anniversaries for me this week

Today is my 31st wedding anniversary! I married the nicest man I've ever known and I'm thankful for him everyday for all the love and support he has given since my diagnosis. I know some women haven't had that support so I am really blessed.

Tomorrow is my 1st cancerversary, too. I remember last year so well. Crying uncontrollably and saying we had just celebrated our 30th anniversary that I couldn't possibly have cancer. What a day...what a year!!

All of that is now behind me. I had a little bit of a meltdown last night thinking about all that I have been through. It just sort of hit me...Wow! I can't believe I made it!

Anyway, just wanted to share. I wish you all well.

    Happy Anniversary! WOW! 31 years! Good for you guys! And Happy Cancerversary (love that term...never heard it) to you, too! You did make it! I know it must be a happy and emotional time. I hope you have a great celebration! Hugs!

    Patti - How wonderful on both counts! You have made it through a tough year and are now able to see it in the rear-view mirror - and you made it with someone you love and appreciate even more for having made the journey with you. Congratulations!!

    For all the kind words! I can't explain how emotional I am today which is the 1 year cancerversary. All morning I've been going, OK @ 7:30 I was signing in for my mammo; at 8:00 I was going for an ultrasound; at 8:30 I was being told by the radiologist that it didn't look good........BUT, as KathiM said..it just keeps getting better and better!

    Hugs back to all of my sisters in pink!
