Numb limbs

Hello
and welcome to the board. My hubby also has Stage IV with mets to the liver and lungs. If you are doing the whole Folfox thing, it possibly could be a bit of neuropathy. George has it in his hands, arms and legs although he did have a problem before the chemo, it definitely got worse with the chemo. His hands and feet were numb-like, trouble unscrewing caps, jars, using a screwdriver, things like that. His legs are also affeced. Hang in there, others will be on to comment also.

may need to check on this
i don't like to jump to conclusions but something i just can't hold back in asking is. "has anyone ever checked and or mentioned anything about a blood clot?" now i understand 'we' shouldn't be waisting energy on the unknown due to most the time it ends up being nothing at all. that being said/written i've read post(s) about the dangers of a possible blood clots and because we need to be 'proactive' instead of 're-active' you might want to get this checked out quickly?

No swelling of ankles indicates little chance of a blood clot. Dr. feels numbness related to cancer and will take some time for chemo to make an impact.0
