I had chemo today and asked the folks behind the desk if I could provide a box/basket for head covers, take one-leave one kind of thing. They said, "Yes." So before next month, I will put together something attractive to hold them and drop it off with a starter set of hats and scarves I can not use. (Except for the red one, which I am sending to someone's mother.)

YAY Carlene!
Carlene,
That's wonderful! I don't know how active you want to be about this, but you may want to contact a local yarn or crafter's shop and ask them if they'll post a notice that knitters can donate "chemo caps" there. My husband's cousin is an avid knitter and she regularly donates chemo caps.
:)Hugs!

Hi Hissy Fizz
This is a lovely gesture. I'm sure newly diagnosed patients will be grateful of a "starter" hat. Bless you for thinking of others.0
